| SVSU to Host Education Information Session at its Macomb Regional Education Center |
| Saginaw Valley State University will hold an information session for the College of Education Thursday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m. at its Regional Education Center-Macomb, located at 30330 Hickey Road in Chesterfield Township. The information session will provide teachers and administrators the opportunity to learn more about the Michigan Provisional/Professional Certification and Planned Program requirements and what they mean to you. Attendees will also learn more about the new State of Michigan Reading Requirement and which classes will fulfill the requirement to obtain professional certification. This is an opportunity for educators to ask questions, learn the facts and how these requirements affect your career ambitions. SVSU’s College of Education is fully accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
